Resolutions related to Windsor Report

As covered in this news release, we have a Special Commission on the Episcopal Church and the Anglican Communion, charged with looking at all resolutions that relate to the Windsor Report and the Anglican Communion. This is an effort to collect similar resolutions and to simplify the legislative work of the Convention.

The SCECAC (say that three times fast!) issued a report, along with 11 resolutions that attempt to respond to the Windsor Report. Here is one commentary (PDF) on those resolutions, from Progressive Episcopalians of Pittsburgh.

By the way, Bishop Wolf is a member of the Special Committee that relates to the SCECAC. If you can untangle the Byzantine workings of the Episcopal Church committee structure, please leave a comment to help all of us understand how it all works.

UPDATE: I finally got it sorted out. The Special Commission met prior to Convention to prepare a set of resolutions. During Convention, the Special Committee sorted through the Commissions's resolutions and all others that came before Convention in order to craft appropriate legislative responses. Clear? Next time, here's my advice to the GC planners: pick committee names that are clear and that differ by more than the last few letters.
