eRISEN Re-Designed into "Diocesan eNews"

This afternoon we sent the first issue of "Diocesan eNews" the new monthly newsletter that has evolved out of eRISEN. The re-design was in response to our readers' requests to make their church events more readily available to the general public, and to create a better place to hear & share inspiring ministry stories between Risen Magazine's quarterly print issues.

An issue will be sent out the first week of every month, and the major difference from eRISEN is that each issue now includes 3 or 4 inspiring stories about recent happenings in Diocese of Rhode Island churches and the Bishop's Office. All event listings now appear on the new church events calendar on our website, and Diocesan eNews will always include a big button to it.

The Calendar makes it much easier to browse through events, and since it lives on our website, event listings are public and viewable well beyond our limited mailing list.  Even better, now when an event is submitted it can instantly be seen on the calendar so you know for sure it went through.
